Living in a gendered world isn't easy especially when you are affirming and asserting your sexual orientation and/or gender identity. It can be an isolating and challenging experience. Let's shift the shoulds and caging people into categories, to honoring ourselves every step of the way You don't have to do it alone.
Traumatic events shake us to the core, it changes our belief system and the way we view the world. It overwhelms our ability to cope and this trauma gets stored in our body. We tell ourselves these stories that fit this trauma narrative, that limit living a full, whole, beautiful life. Kids and Teens
Are you overwhelmed by your children and adolescent's behavior, changes or attitude. Do they seem more withdrawn, angry, anxious, or sad? There is no manual that comes with parenting and yet it is one of the hardest and most rewarding work of one's life. Together, we can navigate the challenges of parenting, work through the pressures put on parents by society, family members, ourselves, and discover a parenting philosphy and style that best fits you and the needs of your children. As parents, we need to practice to care for ourselves in order to show up and be the best versions of ourselves for our kids.
